Here's the fitting you need to adapt the fuel bowl threads to 1/8 NPT

You can also find a similar fitting at a hardware store. It's a flare fitting, but I can't remember the exact size, maybe 1/4" though. If you take that plug that's in the fuel bowl with you, you can find the right size, and a new o-ring. All you have to do is grind the flare part of it off, so it's flush with the threads. You should come out under $5.

I removed the plug on the rear of the fuel filter housing and replaced it with a Boss O-ring fitting with a JIC flare. I put a JIC cap on the fitting when not in use. My fuel pressure gauge kit from MAC Tools will screw on the JIC fitting. The gauge has a rubber seal on the hose similar to R-12 A/C gauge hoses and seals fine. I found the thread size for the filter housing to be 7/16" NF. I got the fitting and cap from my local parts store that makes hydraulic hoses. Any hydraulic hose shop could hook you up with the fittings and hose needed.
