engine block for 94 ranger

engine block for 94 ranger
i cracked the block in my 94 ranger (v6 3.0, 5 speed). What i'm looking to do is find a motor at the junk yard to either use for parts and replace my block, or simply swap engines entirely. are their any other ford products from around this year that used this engine, in the event that i cannot find another 94 ranger? sorry for being a complete noob. any info would be appreciated.

Torque1st, you might move this to the 3.0 forum instead of here. The 3.0 is in a different engine family than the Cologne engines.
It seems that some of the cars (Taurus/Sable in particular) used the 3.0, but I don't know when, or how well they interchange.
