torque curve for an 02?
I recently bought an '02 F250 with the 7.3 PSD for towing my travel trailer. Every trip I take with it, I am more and more impressed with the power that truck can put to the ground.
Specifically, it seems like if I can keep the RPMs at about 2100 on the interstate when towing, that will keep me at roughly 71 mph- thats a shade faster than I'd really want to tow, but at that rpm, there are few hills that can slow the truck, and I don't even lose speed going up a grade.
I'm guessing that is probably in the area that my torque is spiking- can anyone refer me to a dyno graph or some numbers somewhere that will help me understand the 'power curve' of the motor a little better?

if there is the owners manual package, and/or the diesel supplement, there is a pictograph showing the plots between the HP and torques. You will be amazed at how broad the torque curve is. It peaks at about 1750 rpm but the turbo spools hard at about 2000 and fuel mileage drops pretty much above 2100.
