Fifth Wheel Double Where Is it allowed

In the State of Michigan we are allowed to haul a second trailer if hauling a fifth wheel. I am trying to find out which States allow this I want to head to Colorado this summer with the fifth wheel and a small quad trailer.

U
nder Section 721 of the Michigan Vehicle Code, pickup trucks equipped with a fifth-wheel assembly may, with certain restrictions, tow two trailers. This double trailer combination is sometimes called a recreational double.

The total length of the three units — pickup truck, fifth-wheel trailer and second trailer — when coupled together, must not exceed 65 feet. The gross weight of the second trailer cannot exceed the empty weight of the pickup truck or the empty weight of the fifth-wheel trailer.

Thanks for your help

I think trailer life's web site has a pretty good list of states that allow towing doubles.

ND is 75' without a permit and you can do either a fifth or a TT as the first trailor.
