When warmed up Itel is sometimes erratic and engine stalls when given gas.
I have a 99 Explorer and about a couple of weeks ago the MIL light came on and the truck would stall every time I would put into gear and step gas. My scanner came up with about 12-15 codes. 6 of them were transmission related, my transmission started to slip about a month or so before this happened. (That will be another project) The others had to do with EGR silinoid failure, the two OXY Sensors before the the cadilist Bank 1 and Bank 2, a P1451 EVAP selinoid Malfuction and a miss fire in Cylinder 2.
I checked plugs and the gap was double what it should be. I replaced spark plugs and wires. Hoping that was the problem. Still the same. Checked vacume, appears to be no leak. Replace Both Oxy Sensors and EGR Parts. There are 3, the valve, Reg and one other. Still get same codes. Check gas cap ran some better gas thinking I may have bought some bad stuff. What more could I check. I'm about to replace the EVAP Valve. Any Ideas?

Which engine? As far as I know, the Exploder never had the engines this subforum is for.
Did you reset the computer after throwing parts at it? If not, you're still reading old codes.
After resetting, re-read the codes (drive cycle first) or run the on-demand quick-test if your scan-tool can do it, and then post all the codes, in the exact order they were read off by the scanner.
Quit throwing parts at it. All you're doing is wasting money and pi$$ing away your time and money.
There is a correct procedure for diagnosing these things.

Welcome to FTE! Sorry for my delay in responding. I have been out of town.
The Explorer was not offered with the 4.2 V6.
Only the 4.0 V6 or the 5.0 V8.
Some good advice given above: best to stop the bleed - quit throwing parts at it.
Clear everything and start from scratch.
I'd suggest checking in the Explorer forum or the 4.0 forum. Maybe somebody there can be of more help.
Best of luck!
