I had this same problem on my 78. Unfortunately, they do not seem to carry any hinge pin and bushing kits for fords older than 80 at parts stores, that is from my experience. I have seen universal kits but who knows how good they are. I went to a salvage yard that just specailizes in Fords. I found four good hinges on a truck and paid $10 a peice. I do not know if the hinges are the same used on 73-79 trucks but I know you can still get those ones from Ford for $80 a peice.
Check JC Whitney catalog on page 100 at the bottom and see if this 90 piece set will help. It says that it will work on Fords. $39.99. Hope it helps your problem.
Did my door hinge pins and got the pins at Schucks Auto Parts.
Brand is 'Help!' door pin kit #38402 (those helpful little items they sell on the racks)
The dimensions you need on those pins/bushings (67-72 Ford trucks);
for the pin you need; 5/16" dia., 4" length.
and for the bushing, you need; 5/16" ID, 13/32" OD

I got around to replacing the door pins in my truck, and found the number I needed thanks to my search resulting in this thread. I figured I would add what I found if anyone else is looking. The HELP! part number is 38402, but the dimensions are .342"x3.863" for the pin, and .345"x.420"x.305" for the bushings. These are different from the dimensions that are listed above, and since they worked in my hinges, I would assume these are the correct ones. The pin is a little long, and needs to be cut off once it is installed. I got mine from CarQuest.
