Hey you guys around Ft Dodge...
Hey, thought if you had some time Friday afternoon, evening, maybe we could hang out for a bit. Meeting with the daughter/grandkids to let them have the van Opie let me have for a low price so she has better wheel for hauling kids in, a little Neon just doesn't do it for a family of 4 , especially when 2 are in car seats... Probably won't be back on for a few days, as I have a rescue run to Laramie, Wyoming to make... my uncle hauls livestock all over the country, and his rear end toasted out there, and can't get parts any earlier than Tuesday, and then it has to be fixed, all the whilre the stock would be stuck on the trailer, so I will be finishing his run for him. It all started when he ran a deer over down in Arizona, took out the trans, now the rear axle, so i think it may have bent the drive shaft... such fun....

WEll, plans changed a bit, they won't be in town until late, and my wife forgot about it all and scheduled an appointment for that afternoon, so Saturday is the day now... I don't know where the meet will be, but we can go there if you like..
Opie, it ended up tearing the timing belt, then wrapped it around the crankshaft so tight it couldn't turn. It came off in pieces... Wondering though, how long has that door dinger and dome light been going off? it kept going off for the entire 2 hour drive to my mom's a while back... changed the radio, realined the driver's door so it would close better, and a few other things while I was at it, replaced the rear shocks for on, that was fun... snapped off the right rear lower shock bolt, flush of course...
