Kal is good but now that rent and housing prices have gone throught the roof it isn't quite as attractive as it was when I moved here.

You dragged all our good blokes over there. So your "idiots" are the cream of our now non-existant crop.

Glad to see you are enjoying your job though. Auto elec on mining machinery - do you happen to work for Westrac?

Another Aussie, just acquired my second truck. These are my two. I live on a small acreage outside of Geelong, and work in Melbourne.

I don't work directly for Westrac Fred but I do quite abit of contract work for them, I'd like to work for them because they have great conditions and lots of training courses but they just don't pay enough at the moment.

Fair enough.

When I used to work for Fomoco - I had to deal them with a fair bit with thier fleet of Couriers... They seemed like a pretty good mob to deal with.

But man - do thier guys drive the **** off those Couriers... WOT day in, day out, and usually overloaded to boot.

The Kal boys have gone away fom the couriers to a certain degree as they had a bad habit of breaking the rails behind the cab due to overloading and cooking turbos due to running WOT for hours then shutting them down. The Boys here now have quite a few Patrols(Pootrol ****boxes) and now some new Cruisers are coming through but the serious roadies have F250s.

Don't forget to vote this weekend everyone.

In support of the election, I am going for a 2 week hike through the Tasmanian wilderness. No need to have to listen to all b.s. that goes on...

If Fred is on walkabout - we can say pretty much whatever we want to about him until he comes back - can't we?

I bet he won't like it when he comes home though.

Wink

Another Aussie here. From Beerwah, Qld. (An hour north of Brisbane)

Don't own a Ford truck per se, but I am building my own rig with a 6.0 powerstroke. You'll have to read the link in my signature for all the details. Enjoy!
