Exclamation No Brakes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got a 96 PS that had a multitude of brake problems. Master cylinder had been leaking for quite some time which ruined the brake booster. Replaced both. While bleeding found a leak in one of the brake lines to the rear brakes. Fixed it. Got to the front brakes and found the calipers so deteriorated that the cups were almost gone and could not bleed them. Replaced them and brake lines. This is the only problem I have left. The brakes work but hesitate when hitting pedal. They come on late. Have bled these brakes to no end. Adjusted rears and double checked my work and still cannot get a good pedal. I re bled the MC according to long stroke instructions with no results. Anyone got any ideas?

do you have rear abs? if yes then you will have a abs valve on drivers side frame rail right under the floor board. it has a bleeder try that if that doesn't help then you need to find a brake line that you have use to bypass the valve. the line in and the one out are different fittings so you can find or make a line to adapt to bypass the valve and then bleed the rear again. if you have good brakes you need the abs valve.

Thanks for the reply. I can't believe I didn't remember that!!!! This truck has so much junk bolted on the frames it is hard to see and I think there is a pre start oil pump system mounted right where the rabs valve is mounted. This is one those Centurion Limited edition trucks. Thanks again.
