axel ID codes
I have two spare axels that have the following on the little tags
WDM-AG1 3LA
3.00 9 344A
and
WDM-S 9MO
3.25 9 313A
I know they are 9 inchers but i dont know what all the other stuff means . somebody help me out here.

Dang i was hoping to find a limited slip or something else i am tired of doing one tire burnouts. Do you think the 3.25 gear would help my gas mileage? Right now I have 2.75 gears in a 79 F100 302 and get 12-13 miles a gallon.

With the 2.75's you already have the best axle for the best fuel economy.
LS diff tags have an L in the ratio code ie: 3L50
All those other codes of which you speak relate to:
The casting plant = 344A
The Date = 9M0
The Bearing info = WDM -??
