Unhappy HELP...Please, I'm installing brake rotors, need torque #'s... Please?

On an 02 F-350 4x4 diesel. Could someone give me torque numbers for the caliper carier bolts, and the bolts that go into the sliding pins you guys talk about, and is any old grease allright to lubricate those with? Sorry, I'm requesting this on short notice, I have to have the truck back on the road tonight... I didn't think about it until now.

I'd recommend using dielectric grease on the slide pins. I don't bother to torque them. I just wrench tighten them. However, 42 lb-ft for the front, and 27 lb-ft for the rear.

Awesome, but I don't have any dielectric grease, also, what about the caliper carier bolts, the bigger 21 mm head bolts?

My next post will be a link to Guzzle92's very excellent write up on how to do all that.

Here you go. If you have dial-up, click on the link and go get a refreshment. He has a LOT of pictures and all the torque specs, part numbers, etc. Very much worth the wait.

And all the rest of his articles. All just as good.
