real-deal hi-po heads value

Since my '66 c5AE 289 hi-po heads have the 3/8" studs and factory machined base for valve spring I'm guessing they are the real deal...and I need $$$ to complete my son's 351 build for his bronco...it wasn't supposed to need a rebuild &#^#%&!

I'm not trying and will not sell these heads through this site but will list on ebay and, maybe stang enthusiast site: They have had new- unmolested intake and exhaust seats put in...wondering about value...any ideas?

thanks

I'd say 200 used. 5-600 rebuilt. But I'm a cheapskate!

yea, I wouldn't target cheapskates :-)

Someone wanting to build a matching # stang would be a little more amenable- I could not see selling them for under 6-800. Just got the 4v intake that went with the heads...makes it a bit more interesting.

I was told by a salesman from Roddoors that all Ford truck guys are "Frugal"
LOL

GUess I am a cheapskate too I wouldn't give more than $200 for those heads , either. Check the prices on ebay.

I would stand on those heads till you get your target$$. The guys that wouldn't give more than $200 most likely wouldn't sell them for $200 either, understanding exactly what it is they have....

I have looked at ebay (a lot) and the rare heads go for a lot of $$ it seems. There are a lot of the common heads for less.

Mustang guys are not nearly as frugal as truck guys imo. It's only $$!

rechecked and heads are the 4v not the hi-po- confusing but i finally got it down...i think. still worth some $$...the intake seems to go for a pretty penny as well. The real hi-po are worth a LOT. There is a set of heads like mine but freshly used...he doesn't know what he has and I'll see how it goes.

Still matched intake and 4v heads that are clean, ported and have new seats and studs should make someone happy. I'm happy just thinking about how happy someone might be...and I'll use them myself and be happy if the price isn't there. I will have my 67 cougar some day...
