Billet grille w/stock Outer shell 80% complete (pics)

All of my cuts need to be cleaned up and smoothed, and I need to permanently mount the grille (already know how to do that) and I am done.

Definitely a different look. I like it- I will like it more when it's done. I put in more time then I hoped today. So, with or without the Ford Emblem in the center of the grille? What do you think?

For anyone that has worked with chrome plated plastic, what's a good way to continue smoothing out my cuts without chipping/waving the chrome?

My vote goes with leaving the emblem off. I just installed a similar grille on my '87 and it looks great. I'll post some pics soon. Definitely changes the look.

Get yourself the same size emblem I have on my F-150 (pics are in gallery.)

I bought one of those reese tongues that have the HUGE Steel Ford emblem on the back. I just drilled some holes, got some 8-32 screws (maybe they were 10-32) and bolted it right to the grille. That would look good on that grille!

What quicklook said! For those of you who agree with keeping the emblem, look in my gallery and look at the size of the one I got. I personally think it looks better than a stock one. Anyways, I've always been curious to see what it would look like on a chrome grille!
