Nice grill. I agree to leave the emblem on but make it bigger. Don't mean to hi-jack but were did you get those clear corner lights and do they make them for an '88'.

I don't see that addind the emblem will do anything but clutter what looks like a beautiful job. I suggest leaving it off.

I've never liked the look of billets without emblems, or custom billets in general, but I have an all chrome nose with clear corners too, and this one may make me change my mind, looks great, and I'd go with a slightly larger ford emblem, like a rear emblem from a 97-02 f-150

I would go with the bigger emblem. But no matter what you decide, you grille looks great. I think you did a great job on it.

7 year old thread resurrection!

wow X2!
1. what a great looking grill.
2.i can't believe the pics hosted off site lasted since '06! so im attaching these here for safe keeping.

that was really lame on leaving out the fabrication instructions imho,but im sure it all becomes clear as to whats needed to be done.
fortunately he shared the idea though! the only needed part to copy it.

who here is good with photoshop?
it seems like a lot of chrome.black out the billet grill leaving the factory chrome shroud he set it in alone?
or actually,i think the fia bug screen would be enough to tone it down all it needed;

Looks great! I think the emblem adds a nice touch, I personally have never really cared that much for the billet grilles without an emblem.
