This is just another example of how totally incredible the BTS crew is.

As some of you may know, while I was at the BTS Open House, they gave away a free TC, and I happened to be the luck winner of that prize. And, some of you know that I've already scheduled the new trans build for June 6th. I asked Patti about pricing, since I'd already have the TC, and I also wanted to have the 6.0 trans cooler I have installed while I was down there.

For the cooler install, Patti said that Brian wasn't going to charge me. That's awesome. But, she would need to talk to Brian to find out the price of the trans, and have him call me. Well, Patti called me back this morning. She said that they were thinking about giving away a free trans build at the open house, but it never happened. Now for the big news, and I think you may be able to see where I'm going here. They decided that along with the TC as a door prize, they are going to give me a trans build as well. That's correct...they're giving me a free BTS trans!! Now, that's a heck of a prize to win.

I told Patti I couldn't believe it, and don't even begin to know how to thank them. I'm still beside myself about it, and will probably be for a while. I think I've just become the luckiest Powerstroke owner around. Anyway, I wanted to share with you all just how awesome the crew is there. I don't know of any other place that would offer something like that. I am truly grateful to receive something like that.

if you ever have second thoughts about this and only still want the free torque converter, and not the transmission, ill drive to wherever i have to to get the transmission, and ill pay for a torque covnerter.

Thanks guys. Again, I really am thankful, grateful, appreciative, indebted, and anything else you can think of to the BTS gang for this. I guess there must be something in the water down there. If I could spread the luck around, I'd do it in a heartbeat for you guys.

Oh, and Kris, I don't think it would be a good idea if you were my son. You would have been born when I was 10 years old. Maybe my brother, that's a reasonable age difference.

 

Could start an "adopt-a-Strokin" program!

 

Wow JT, that'll free up some bucks that you were planning on spending. Any ideas on that? Anyway, great deal and I would say it couldn't have happened to a better guy just from what I know of you. Congrats.

 

Dang JT, congrates on your current string of luck. I never seem to wind up on that side of luck. You might even ask BTS if they have an extra IH van turbo laying around, they will probably just give it to you,,,, just because it's you.

Again, Congrates and from what I've seen in my short time on FTE, you had it coming sooner or later anyway. Ya know the old saying "What goes around, Comes around". Looks like it your turn.

 

Jeremy, be sure to bring Patti and Brian a nice batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies when you head down for the new tranny and other goodies.

I've got some ideas, but we'll just have to wait and see how it all plays out. I'll keep you all updated as the mods come around though.
