How to loosen belt tensioner???

I/ve been searching these forums for about an hour now, nad I cannot for the life of me find out how to loosen my belt tensioner. Can someone please help. '01 Ranger 3.0L.
Some people have said there is a 3/8 square drive on it, but not on mine. I tried to pull on the bolt in the middle of the pulley, but all I can get it to do is loosen the bolt.
Help please.

there is a slot in it ( a little square) where you put in just your 3/8 rachet and then push and it will losen to get the belt off

In addition to that, my 98 has an ideler pully as well. You might be on the wrong one. I wanna say the tensioner is the lower of the 2.
