TopDeck Tonneau cover lock
Ford Truck Enthusiasts,
Good evening...I have a 2006 SCREW that I had a TopDeck fiberglass tonneau cover installed years ago....while I was in California. The company use to be in San Bernardino, California...however, when I tried to call the number on the manufacture plate attached to the tonneau cover, I get the "line is no longer in service". I looked them up on the web and it would appear they are no longer in business.
The issue...
The lock has broken and I am trying to get a new locking mechanism for the cover. The lock has no manufacture name or ID on it...the key says TopDeck with a key code...
Looking for any help from the folks here on Enthusiasts that might have information or knowledge on where I might go to find such a lock? It is a single lock located middle of cover about 5-6 inches from the back of the top. The lock turns a pair of horizontal locking rods that connect to two locking mechanisms that are attached to either side of the frame rails...it is a very unique looking lock...
I have search the web for pictures or info only to come up empty...any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Adam

I can't seem to find a manufacturer of Tonneau covers named "Top Deck".
Can you post pictures inside and out of the lock you need? Perhaps include a measurement of the hole the lock goes it?
You might want to post in the "Bed Covers, Tonneau covers, Toppers/Canopies & Bed liners" forum as well. It is way down in the "Misc." category.

CathedralCub,
Thanks for the recommendation on the tonneau forum...didn't know was down there...I will attempt to post photos.
marksman76,
good idea...I will look into that...I have installed a makeshift camper shell type of urn style lock in the originals place, but I am trying to get the parts to fix the old one...
