The truck is a 95 350 with 145K.
I purchased a Greasel kit and installed it last Saturday.
I added an electric tank switching valve on the return line so when the engine is running WVO flows back to the tank instead of looping the return back to the fuel pump. If the fuel filter on my WVO plugged them I would pull fuel thru the return line to the pump bypassing the heated WVO filter.

The plan is to run a mix of diesel and WVO in my heated front tank and bio-diesel in the rear.

Not a good idea. Diesel and VO will not stay mixed. They will seperate into layers and you will be running straight diesel or straight VO so why bother.

Additionally if you should happen to shut down on straight VO your gonna have a problem getting it started again.

Bottom line - don't mix the two! Heat/motion don't help, and in the end, it's your injection system (and your wallet) that suffer.

 

I am running a 2 tank system.

Front tank is heated with 90% WVO and 10% diesel.

I start on the diesel form the rear tank. When the fuel in the WVO & diesel tank is warmed up I switch to the front tank. The system has both heated filters and fuel line.

I under stand that WVO and diesel will separate out when the fuel in the tank is just sitting.
When you heat the fuel it should cause a thermal currant to help it mix the WVO and diesel. I drive about 20 miles before switching to WVO & diesel mix.

Bryan, If you have a heated WVO tank there is no need to mix dino-diesel with your WVO. Just use WVO in that tank, adding D-2 is just a waste of $$$$$$$$$$.
