AIH, CCV a little confused

I have search high and low for this CC hose but have been unable to find it.
I looked at the orignal airbox and I dont see a place where it could have gone either.
Second, this AIH delete,???? Where in the world is this heater thing at?
I have told that the chevys and now the dodges have some kind of heater on them, this is why there is no wait to start. Not that I want a chevy or dodge, just wondering if this is the same concept?
Thanks

On the drivers side valve cover you will see a rectangular box. This is connected to the short black plastic tube inbetween the airbox hose and the inlet to turbo hose. (can you believe my wife is an english teacher)
It recirculates crank case gasses back into the turbo then to combustion chamber to be burned off.

The AIH is a plug with wires coming out of it on the passenger side of the "y" pipe to manifold. It is rumored to block 20% of airflow. I have seen this plug....and I believe the rumors to be true.

If you should decide to mess with the AIH, PLEASE disconnect the batteries first.

This is the first I've seen about disconnecting the batteries. As I am trying to make time to do this, could you please tell me why I need to disconnect the battery.
Thanks.

Probably the safety issue when working on electronics. They are wired pretty much directly to the battery, (the relay). I didn't do it.

12V, and I believe one is hot all the time. Makes for an interesting light show.

Just dont want anyone to get kicked by their mule.

You know, that whole "better safe than sorry" thing.

Thanks, I thought it would be voltage free unless the relay was energized due to cold. Problably safer to undo the batteries.

Medic...

Probably just piece of mind. You wont have that giant rod sticking out into your intake tract. Since you are in Ohio, not sure I would remove it.

Someone will chime in from a cooler climate with some advice.
I have not removed mine yet, because this dumb job I have keeps getting in the way of my fun.
