We all want clean air and water, obviously. The problem is the emotional folks don't really want to solve to problem, or else they would be willing to work to find a solution. Instead, they'd rather regulate and tax business out of business to line someone's pocket or justify their job, then tell everyone how hard they're working to fix the problem. The emotional has been running things for a long time, and if it were the right choice, we'd be living in a perfect utopia by now.

 

Apparently congress is "For Display Purposes Only" or a ceremonial body designed to fool the rubes or honey pot operation, etc.

I've been watching politics carefully for a long time. If politicians were merely incompetent they would, by the law of averages, occasionally make mistakes in the American people's favor. This never happens. It only ratchets one way. Then they try to act like spectators, as if they've had nothing to do with any of this, while they exempt themselves from the nonsense foisted on everyone else.
