2003 EB Door Ajar & rear hatch rattle

Hi, 2003 EB rattle coming from back, I think it is the rear hatch or glass Hatch.
Also the door ajar message, this could be related.
Where are the sensors or switch for the glass and hatch located ?
Thanks

Probably the latch for either the glass or the hatch is either loose or out of adjustment.

Try pressing on the hatch or glass to see which one it is.

In either case, you'll have to remove the interior trim that covers the latch mechanism to make any repairs or adjustments.

I had same issue with my '03 Expy. Noticed one of the rubber feet was missing. Bought a replacement at the local Ford garage for a couple of bucks.

The open door sensor seems to be a common issue with this truck. The sensor/switch is located INSIDE the doors, so no easy access. You'll probably also notice your dome lights either don't come on when you open the door, or they don't shut off after a short interval. Short of a complete teardown of the door, I've resorted to a squirt of WD-40 from time to time into the door latch. Seems to help, though the proble, will likely return.

Well I notice that when the tailgate was open , I had the tailgate open message,so I assumed that the door ajar was not related to the tailgate rattle.
I did what was mention on another post, sprayed the hell out of the door latch, and it cure the door ajar for now.
Yes the inside dome light were staying on until I picked up speed.

As for the rear rattle, I remove the rear tailgate panel, and notice the previous owner had tried to remove it and it was half on and of, put everything together, and I think everything is fine.
Now I know why the asking was so low.
Thanks for all the comments.

like dmd said, some wd-40 in all the latches for all the doors should clear up the "door ajar" message problem - it's worked for me and dozens of others.
