It's fishin season.

Well, it's been fishing season for a while. Me and my babe were gonna get up at the crack of dawn and go catfishing in a little farm pond.

Post fishin stories here! Biggest fish, smallest fish, weirdest fish... whatever.

cool april morning . the fog just starting to lift. I string up the zebco. putting slowly toward a known crappie bed I kill the engine. cruised in tied up ,,a small black bird swoops a minnow from the water. the sun peeks over the horizion. the gasy smell of the outboard in the air... sitting silently.......then it happes! rod nearly falls out of the boat. caught a stick. sad thing is thats the best I have done for years!

I was fishing down from rerag dam when I caught a walleye. It was not big but the tree limb it snaged me in was.I was reeling it in it had my pole bent over like it would break.Folks come to see what I had on my line.Had a nice little crowd.Just before bank the fish come loose from the limb.I pulled out about a 3/4 to 1 pound walleye. This guy standing by watching me had one lost look on his face.I just said man them little buggers put up a hell of a fight. It was great.
