Anyone ever notice this???
Was getting ready to watch one of my FAVORITE movies tonite and I noticed something kinda neat.
On the cover of the movie "Varsity Blues"...is a FORD truck that is from our years. Have been trying to decide on a paint scheme for my '67...but I think I have just found it.

Not really, only a few minor ones...
1. Finding a good tranny
2. Had to move the crossmember back.
3. Driveshaft length changed.
4. Bleeding the clutch setup...I wrote a tech article on how to do it very easily though.
If you have any questions...email me at kenandko(No Email Addresses In Posts!) I'd be glad to help you.

That harbour blue/ wimbledon white combo does look pretty good. Looking closely at the rangoon/wimbledon 68 I'm disassembling for parts has shown me how labor intensive these tutone jobs were at the factory. Looks like it was painted all white first then masked for the red. Even the fender backsides were painted. Back to topic... someone once mentioned the movie Mr Majestyk with Charles Bronson because it featured a 68 F100. Looks like at least three different trucks and probably more were used up for that one. At least one has no filler neck on the cab.

While we're on the subject, Ford has a relatively new commercial out where Bill Ford is talking about how rugged his trucks are and there is a shot of a '67 (I think) jumping through the air at a pretty good clip.
Also, there was a Johnny Depp movie a number of years ago, set in a small town, whereby he drove a pretty nice '68 or '69. I never saw the whole movie, but do remember the truck.
