Since the floor pans are the same from 65 to 79, I wouldn't think the year would make any difference.

In the cool still quiet of night, you can hear chevies rusting away.
I also have been contemplating the urethane cab mounts but was concerned they would squeek. My wife has urethane bushings in the sway bar of her Jeep and they squeek. She never notices it but it annoys me.
Obsolete Ford Parts sells a cab mounting set for $58 and you can get them in black or red. Were the ones from JCwhitney black or red? I prefer the stock look.
I put a set on my 70 about five years ago, and yes they squeak. But I've either lost more of my hearing over the last five years, or it doesn't bother me any more.
I haven't even thought about them in a long time, but I suppose after this I'll start listening for them again.
All of my spring bushings, spring stop bumpers, and transfer case mounts are also poly. I do like the fact that they don't dry rot out like rubber, and you can install them all yourself without the trouble involved with pressing rubber ones in.
I got them from a place called "Daystar Bushings" or "Energy Suspension"(I can't read my old notes very well) But the guys name was J.T. and he was very helpfull and they even custom made me some for my transfer case rear support bracket at no extra charge.Their # is 1-800-595-7659.
70Moose, are you the guy that lives in Anchorage? I was just wondering because I am in Fairbanks and the junkyards here are slim pickings when it comes to old Ford Parts.
