I think it'll be easier and cheaper to just remove the waterpump along with it and put in a new waterpump and a new fan clutch.
That's what I did, and it is VERY easy to remove now. I hold the pulley with one hand and loosen it with a pair of channel-lock pliers, comes off easy as pie now...lol....
It seems to me, I can remove a pulley from the water pump. There are 4 8 mm thread bolts for 1/2" socket. I can screw them out and put the fan and pulley away.
The problem is to hold a pulley. I dont want to damadge it!

Mormakil! The problem is, that fan was titen with extreme force, becouse my friend thought, that the thead is right hand, but it is left hand! So I can not loosen it!
When my dad removed and replaced the water pump, he asked me if I could borrow the tools from a local mechanic. I went and got the tools. By the time I returned he already had it removed, and when it came time to put it all back together, he asked me to crank the engine so he could tighten the fan to the shaft. Never used the tools.
tensioner nightmare...installed new serpentine a few years back. next day, driving in the middle of nowhere on the interstate, suddenly overheating. tensioner had broken, tore the boot off the stearing gear, eventually leading to other problems. i've been told to change out the tensioner anytime you replace the serpentine.
