Looking for Expedition Tire TSB

I've been trying to find one of the TSB's related to 2005 Expedition tire problems, but it doesn't seem to be listed on Alldata or Infotraxx. On the NTSB web site, it is described as follows:

Bulletin # 18228
Sequence # 10010737
Date 20041001
Component 190000 Tires

Tire feathering at low mileage.

Does anyone have access to the complete TSB? I'm in the process of putting together a submission to the Dispute Settlement Board and am in need of as much background information as possible.

I've already been there. Unfortunately, it only lists a very brief summary of the TSB--not the details.

I had the same problem and could not find a TSB. The condition is "Steering Nibble" and Ford is well aware of it. A lot of speculation on what causes it but it is NOT acceptable. I believe it is caused by 1-2 out of every 10 Continental tires being bad, along with a very sensitive rack and pinion steering unit, makes the steering wheel shimmy when 1 of the tires "bad spots" gets out of sequence. That is why it goes away from time to time.
I brought a large number of posts to the dealer and basically told them how to fix it, and... I was not going to bring back the loaner until it was right because it is a SAFETY ISSUE!!!!
The good news is that my 05EB is now smooth as it should be. Absolutly no vibration for 10k now after the fix. The dealer RFB'ed 6 new Conties before he got 4 to match. Now I know because of these tires, the nibble might come back but at least I know it can be fixed without replacing the whole front end. BTW, the RFB seats the bead with road force so it will expose a bad tire while balancing rather than sending you home to find out... after the bead seats on your vacation. Bring this post to your dealer and show him that some Ford dealers go the extra distance for their product, even if as in my case, the vehicle is purchased elsewhere.

For $9.99 you can print out all full TSB's for your specific vehicle for up to 3 days.
Longer sign-ups cost more.

Its a little confusing they way they set up this site, but work through it and you'll be able to see exactly what the dealer/mechanics see on the TSB's.

The Vibration/run out is an issue with my 2003 Navi also. New Hankook's and still have vibration at 40 - 50 mph.
