gauge pod install,,,are all pods the same

So, tell me guys, are all pods the same....I just tried to install one from diesel manor and had a nightmare to say the least. lousy fit and after trimming it still just sucked. think I am gonna junk it now.....just came in after I had enough. My truck is 2001. you cant mount that thing anything like the directions say. WHO SELLS THE BEST.

I got my pod and gauges, together, as a kit. I believe the pod was made by Pro pods. The fit over the A-pillar cover was excellent. The only thing to watch is the placement of the holes for the push-pins that hold the pod to the cover. If placed right, the rubber around the door will hide the ones on that side. Some people opt to use screws to hold it on.

I bought the kit from Diesel Manor, the pod fit very good. Did you get the kit or just order the pod? I think the kit has better instructions than comes with the pod. You can download instructions from Diesel Manor. Maybe you just got a bad ppod? If you think it was a bad pod, I would send it back. Good luck.

Give Diesel Manor a call and let them know the trouble you're having. Their pod should fit just right. I'm sure they'll fix you up.

i just got mine from diesel manor, i ordered the 4 gauge pod and it fits but i see no way to attach it to the pillar. it stays up on its own but if i bump it, it falls. i was kinda wondering how to get it to stay up also

It should have come with some plastic nails (think that's what they are called), you just drill holes and push them in. They hold very tight and look good if they are in a place you can see them.
