Hi,I want to install a trailer brake controller in a 2003 EB with the console
going up to the dashboard.
Looking for suggestion as to the best place to mount the contoller. Not much room under the dash on driver's side.
I have a Prodigy controller and put it in the ash tray. Seeing that we don't smoke, I just pull out the ashtray (not the whole door) and slip it in. I bought a adaptor that plugs in under the dash and into the unit. When I"m not towing (I tow twice a month) I just tuck the wire under the dash and put the controller in the glove box. You do see the wire coming from under the dash when in use, but so what. Only I see it and only when towing
Yes ,I was thinking getting a small unit and remove the ash tray liner and fit it in there.
In my previous vehicle , had used a flat trailer connector and just plug in as need, but I would like to install this one in permanent location.
Any other ideas?
