This evening I spoke with one of the Crockford locals & it looks like he's going to give me a Pinto wagon. If it's worth fixing, I just might paint it a nice shade of Focus blue & stick a happy face on the gas tank door.
Ahhh, life in the fast lane !!!!!!!!!

Funny thing is, I am starting to see more of these Pinto's lately at cruise nites and swap meets. At Ancaster I spotted one with panels over the rear window to give that delivery sedan look. Do you remember the Pinto Wagon with the Rainbow stripe and the bubble porthole window in the back? Ahh the 70's it was all about glitter! They made a similar version of the F150 with the goofy rainbow stripe. Maybe the Pinto will be showing up on Barrett-Jackson stage in the years to come!( along with the Pacer of course!! )
As fo me, I think its time to blow the cobwebs off of the Falcon and park the truck for a while.
I do like grrl's wisdom, if I throw a small car in the back of my truck the mileage should average out right? Funny, I can't see the opposite, but it might be fun puting an F100 on a Toyota Echo?!

Latest Pinto Update...
Well go figure.......It's already blue. It had better be a fair to decent runner because there's several holes that need filling. Then there's the clutch??????
`Tis the season to get into a project I guess.
Just thinking out loud here........Blue Pinto parked beside a Blue Fairlane. It would be so family like to see them both being fixed by the same welder. Doesn't that sound like an old guy's photo op. to you?
Well, I'm off to roll pennies.

P.S. Frank......................Bullseye????? How's your back bumper?
