Horn Ring Removal

Hi!

Anybody know how to remove the horn trim ring on a 70?
I don't have an assembly manual yet and would like to get into the column.
My turn signals won't cancel and it'd driving me nuts!

Push down, twist left. Be gentle, and if you bust the ears off the plastic ring you can buy a new one.

Thanks William. Yep, that worked. yep, I broke an ear off too!

What's even worse is that someone WELDED the nut onto the steering shaft. Might take a while to fix this one!
