I'll most likely come out. Might be ridin' dirty in the Ranger, not sure yet. LOL. My PSD missed out on me one good time on my way in to work today and made a pretty loud pop and a huge cough of black smoke. Then ran fine again. Gotta look into it tonight.

 

Don't feel bad Travis, I'm showing up in a $1000 accord. At least you're showing up in a ford!

 

Yeah I think high boost and high drive pressure might have finally gotten the best of my stock valve springs. We'll see tonight if I have a bent pushrod. haha I doubt I'll find anything though, it seems to be running just fine now. No strange noises. If a pushrod or valve woulda bent, I'd probably know it by now.

 

Fuel hick-up? Injector going bad?

 

I looked it over last night. Not seeing anything out of place. Ran it pretty hard on the way to work and it was flawless. Contribution gave me 3 cylinders, then ran it again and it gave me 3 completely different cylinders, ran it again, 3 different cylinders again. Not sure what's going on, but it looks like I'm going to drive it out on Saturday.

 

I hope your PSD can make it out.

 

It'll make it. No problem. It was just one miss. Not sure what the heck it was, but it's running just like it always has today. We'll see y'all Saturday. Even got approval today from my GF. LOL It's nothing special to look at, but it sure is fun to ride in. I didn't treat the body very well back in high school unfortunately.

 

OK. I am going to show up tomorrow evening. Now, where exactly in Austin is this get together????

If your coming south on I35, exit just south of Georgetown for 1431. Its by the outlet mall and IKEA. Turn right and head west to Cedar Park. Go past 183A to old 183. Just after you cross some railroad tracks you'll be at the intersection. The meet is by the Schlotzskys on your left across the street from HEB.
