I just finished tonight installing a fresh 400M into my 69 shortbed after the 360 that came in it finally gave it up. It sure is gonna be nice having a smooth shifting C6 and a stout motor to cruise in.
I noticed after the swap that the front end came up about an inch and a quarter. Do you think that the 400/C6 weighs that much less than the 360/3-spd?
I have always wanted the truck to sit more level and was/am still considering installing some fresh replacment coil springs.
Any thoughts or suggestions..
