First off i have a 85 f350 4 door long box t19 np205 gear venders od 35s 4:10s I just rebuilt the motor havnt evan got it back in the truck yet anyways.. I was talking to the deisle tech at work about more power out of my f350 ive already got the banks turbo on there but hte money it would take me for a new ip injectors etc.. i could have a 7.3 already. My questions are does any one know if the bell housings are different on the 6.9 an the newer 7.3 and motor mounts he wasnt sure but said he was prety sure that it would bolt up. So i am gunna start hiting hte junkyards to find an engine.

Bell housing and motor mounts are the same, however, the 7.3 Powerstroke is a whole different animal from the 6.9 IDI in your truck. You would pretty much need a complete donor vehicle to make that swap possible as your 85 has none of the electronics neccessary to run the PSD.

I would recommend you reinstall the turbo 6.9, build an intake, get a bigger exhaust, and turn up the stock IP.
