The wiper motor adventures in hell...

Went to town 3 days ago, and got all the way there and my wiper motor broke, in the pouring rain. I was 5 miles to the u-pull-it, so I went there and got another wiper motor. took it off the donor truck, and put it on my truck.

Have you ever done this in the pouring rain? not fun I can tell you. Took around 2 1/2 hours.

Removing cowl, and stuff on donor truck, removing cowl and stuff on mine, and replacing motor, then putting the cowl back on. in the rain. Without a rain coat.

And now, it's not raining.

argh...

Anybody have experiences like that?

Yep, replacing drive shafts in the middle of a mudhole, in the dark.....while it was snowing. Not my fondest memory.
