dumb choices you've made

I'm kinda frustrated with my new toy errr vehicle. so I'm curious, what are some dumb choices you've made in your life? I dont mean illegal or anything, just dumb. for me, it would be having decided to get a rice rocket instead of keeping my truck like I should have done.

don't buy

I bought an 82 ford for 400 dollars. The trans was fried and there where many other problems I didn't see until after I bought it. I want to sell it now but I AM not going to get my money back thats for sure. I want 300 for it and I tried to rebuild the transmission. I put about 200 in the transmission and wound up burning it up in one day out in my neibors field. I am so stupid stupid stupid stupid. I will say one thing however. That truck would do one hell of a dough nut!

I was in the same boat with the rice rocket. I bought it brand new and went to get insurance and i got two quotes that were higher than $700 a month for full coverage due to a bad driving record. Too many speeding tickets. Needless to say i sold the bike and lost money.

Boy, lets start the list. . .in no particular order

-Taking a year off from school before I went to college
-Not taking college seriously before I was halfway through
-Buying the first truck I saw (my '87)
-Buying my 2004
-Not seeing a shrink when I should have
-Not going back to my shrink
-A whole list of stupid choices that screwed me up my Senior year in High School
-Another whole list of stupid financial choices
-Not joining the National Honor Society

. . .

There, someone should be able to read that and feel better about themselves

Bought my 2004 F-150. Exact quote "I don't really need 4x4 just to drive to work on. I still have my Bronco to play with." Somebody should have slapped me in the head.

-Going to college. I still think its waste of time and money.
-When I was in high school I used to change color of my hair every month. Now I'm almost 22, I lost a lot of hair and in year or two I'll be completely bald.
-Buying '97 Dodge Intrepid. Junk.
-Moving to Wisconsin from Idaho.
-Not taking my grandfather's drinking problem seriously. If I did, maybe he would still be alive today (he died few months ago at age 64).

Wow, how much time do you have?

- Taking life too hard.
- Trying to make a fake ID at 17. ( I know you said not illegal, but I gotta put it in)
- Not taking school seriously enough the first time. (But Red, I still agree with you, it's a waste of time and money)
- Not working as hard as a could now that I'm back again.
- Not losing weight as a kid.
- Driving 45mph in a 30 down a busy street around a curve on 6/18/00 (I totalled that f-150)
- Not really listening to my g/f enough in high school.
- Not realizing I had depression soon enough.
- Thinking I was a much better poker player than I was.
There's probably a lot more, just can't think of 'em.

This weekend, I let my girlfriend paint my nails. Don't ask why, it's just something she has always wanted to do (and I'm a sucker for extremely beautiful women). It was just a dull pink and some clearcoat. She put it on and we shared a laugh and a great Saturday afternoon. This morning though, I was talking to my parents and they saw my nails. My dad freaked. My mom chewed me out too. That's the last time I have my nails painted (probably not, considering I let my girlfriend do pretty much whatever she wants, and she'll probably do it again).

Oooooh lets see... To start, today I ran a red light when there was a cop driving right beside me... Don't ask me why I did, because I sure as hell couldn't tell ya.. The good news about that was she let me off, I definately owe her as I ran a red.. Spending $1700.00 on a girlfriend in about 6 months. Plus many more, I guess the good thing is even though they were dumb choices I don't regret them... Well, I regret running the red light but obviously I had no intention to do so..

Exclamation one time

I remeber a few weeks ago my friends and I GOT A brillient idea to jump on a train! We got on the train and it stopped. We ran up the train from the back and got to a junk box. We wound all kinds of stuff in side of it. while we were looking in the car the train started moving. Before we new it the train was going at least 50 mph. We freakn panicked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got on the right side because there where rail road ties on the left side and that would hurt to land on. We jumped on the left which had number 2 gravel on it and no grass at 50 mph. They say water hurts that fast!!!!!! try gravel!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah that was fun wasn't travis.
But what about the time when we were out driving around in boonevillie and had $400 dollars worth of fire works setting them off as we drove around town. Or how about spending $200 on roman candles and shooting them off at each other filling a 2acre feild with smoke and not seeing. Or better yet when we went muddin and spend $20 in quarters to wash your dad's truck off before you got home. Or driving down the interstate playing follow the leader at 100+ mph and flipping the flamethrower switch and popping out 2 foot flames out the back. just to name the stuff we did this year.

One and two others not even mentioned
