And from what I'm reading here, %99 percent are in the "hate it" crowd.

to me i think it would be a good look for the 450-550. a cross between the light heavy duty(250-350)-the medium heavy duty(450-550) - and the heavy duty(650-750)

They were cheap with the "heat extracter vents" too. Look at the Super Chief concept they look at the spy photo. How can we make these really cheap? - integrate them into the badge. penny pinching on 40 grand trucks.

As I recall, this massive grill is supposed to raise with the hood. Much like the Dodge.

And I agree with an earlier post that if they were going with this head light design it would have looked better upside down.

My initial reaction was wow what have they done to the beatiful SDs but i think its already started to grow on me a little with further study, i like the panel vets, but i do agree that it does look a little lower in the front almost like its bogged down... i hope thats just the pic angle. And i agree that there is no need to but spuerduty acrossed everything on the truck.. i especially don't like it on the dash above the glove compartment... just looks cheap or something. anyway there my 2 cents

It's definately different. I think it will grow on me though. The grille looks like one from a newer style 650. The headlights looks a little wierd, but again it will grow on me. Definately looks like one hell of a pulling truck.

I must say, you people who buy trucks for looks, don't need to be buying a truck im my opinion. If you buy a truck, you buy it for performance, and relability, which in my opinion is where Ford kicks @$$. So basically, if you're buying a truck to impress your buddies with it's looks, you're wasting your money.

I doubt that Ford cares much how or why someone buys their trucks....as long as they do. That's why they market to the masses. For some, it may be important to impress their buddies, girlfiends, buddies girlfriends, or neighbors dog (could be a girlfriend too, I suppose) ....If so, to them, they are not wasting their money.

I agree that you should buy a truck for its performance, but, if your going to spend 40-50,000 dollars on a new truck, then I think that looks will be a factor. If that wasn't the case, then these trucks would all look the same. I bought my '06 for it's performance AND its looks.

Why is it that every manufacturer is going to that hideous center piece in the dash that holds the radio/HVAC controls? Everything HAS to be in the center of the dash in some gawd-awful off-color panel....oh, and lets put ROUND heater vents in a square/angular dash layout. UGH.

I don't like the 05/06 style...sorry guys. Not intending a flame-war, just not excited about a huge flat chrome grille. So, this '07 truck is WAY disgusting with a HUGE grille and shapeless front bumper.

I don't dislike it too much, but it is definitely no improvement. The 06 front end looks like the evolution of the 07...it should be the other way around.

Hey guys,

I photoshopped the front of the New superduty and flipped the headlights around. It actually looks awesome once the headlights are flipped. Plus the way it is now, wouldn't the lights point to close to the ground.

I bet ford just put them that way until the Official release date.

Besides the headlights, I love the way the truck looks. It reminds me of the early 90's when ford was building BIG SQUARE TOUGH TRUCKS!!

Most of the other newer trucks out there are just too rounded and sissy looking.

IMO the squarer the better!!! Good job Ford
