There aint nuttin any cheaper than Paint thinner.
I never paint any part of the engine.

I like sandblasting. a lot.

Has anyone sandblasted their block to get it ready for paint?

I've been pondering over this with my 302 project motor.

Of course you would have to seal things up nice....and if a spec of sand did get in there, that would stink......so maybe this is a bad idea.
