How is everyone doing on the high cost of gas this week?Might as well take a bike to work without horsepower and replace with human power since out my way the weather is getting good. Now the cost of electricity is going up too and i just changed to better light bulbs called enersaver and now im wondering what will be next to pinch the pay check

The only good thing is the 9x coupon in the Crappy Tire flyer. What my wife and I do to max that out are fill the car and truck off the same pump - multiplies the crappy tire money much faster.

well am i ever glad i got rid of that liquid coal burner of a dodge .

the f-150 1/2 ton 5.0l with its overdrive has a 60 litre tank on it and only costs about $100.00 to fill(lol) . i thought 79.9 cents a litre was a joke , but 109.9 tonight in peterborough, good lord, how am i going to send the kids to college now?

According to our Prime Minister "Drivers should get used to high gas prices". That's easy for him to say because he doesn't pay for his gas..WE DO!!! The headline appeared in the news section of Yahoo.ca.

Pearl, I want your truck! On second thought I go about 800km's on $120 but I still want your truck.

Me thinks the blue pearl be haunted by a ghostly mechanic. If you read the 1999 to 2002 7.3 section at this site, you have to wonder. Blue has never blown the CPS. Blue has never had the fuel pump replaced the tanks dropped and clean, no work on the injectors, no work on the turbo. Still has original transmission and as you know has many KLMs on her.
So mate if you want a haunted truck I will keep you in mind. But we have to wait till the red truck comes available. The way the vet goes that should be 2007 0r 2008.
One thing I cant ask you much $$$ with that many Klms on it.

It just dropped JUST below a dollar a litre here. Don't know if I should be excited or not.

.99/l diesel

I fuelled up today (can't say gassed up - diesel) paid 99 cents/litre for diesel. Took $106 to fill even tho' the idiot readout said I still had 115kms DTE. Regular gas was 102.9
(in Concord - it's Vaughan the "City Above" but basically just north Toronto)
I always suspected they lowered the prices after the rush hour; so I asked the guy in the gas station. He said sure - it keeps us busy by lowering the price, otherwise we might as well close after the rush hour.

Diesel...

Was 94.8 @ Lowblaws @ Vic. Pk. & Gerrard yesterday. Plus the 1.69 grocery coupon. I don't think it will be that low tomorrow when I go again.
Most other places (north of Gasoline Alley) were 98.9 & 99.9.

Dennis !!!!!!!!!!! You've got to be joking. I believe we've got more tax on gas in Ontario than you folks in AB. Yours is always cheaper than ours by nearly 10 cents/L. The high price this morning was $104.9 at Crockford Beaver.
What's wrong with this picture? Is your government looking to claw back the $400 per person cheques?
