Bentonite works pretty good, basically, it is cat litter. Spread a bunch out around the wall, and when it rains, it will drive it into the soil, then it will seal the crack underground. It actually does work, had a cinder block wall that leaked all the time, and after I did that, it stopped.
fellro, so that would work for an underground leak in a floor? a teacher of mine got an adition, and the rain water forces up inbetween the cracks, would that fix it?
can't say on that short of having to tear into it a bit, unless you go to a hardware store and get some of the concrete patch they have there, it worked for leaks on the inside of the wall here, the chimney actually was allowing water into it undergraound, so I covered it with tin, then allpied the concrete patch over it, still working pretty good. The bentonite trick works mainly for seeping, bnig leaks need to be covered with the patch.
