Window tint

Anyone know of a simple way to remove the film used for tinting windows. There must be a chemical that will eat it! Something better than a razor blade?

I never tried taking it off but how about a heat gun?

Use the razer blade but also spray it with water. When i did it i used either soapy water or windex and water, cant remember which though. Made it come off pretty easy.
