We talked about removing the intake silencer and I am curious,, what else we can remove to improve the power and the drive in general?

 

Well you could always remove the complete interior, sans the drivers seat..oh, lose the bed too, its just weighing the truck down. Seriously, these trucks arent like trucks of yesteryear. You just cant pull a smog pump, and cat, and go on your way. The only way you are going to get power is to bolt on, or to tune.

 

Oh definitely remove the front 4 x4 components while your at it. That would definitely lighten your load... How much do you weigh? If your a lard ***, you could go on a diet and that should help too.

You want speed, buy a mustang.

 

get your self a tunner like superchips or others an air intake magnaflow ex or what i did get your self a roush s/c

 

you can also go on a diet and remove some lbs. that way. Cheap and effective and its a way of "weight reduction"

 

Take a look at other threads posted here about power & tuners. Read for an hour or so and you will find most people are having the best luck of unleashing power by using a tuner. Edge, Preditor & Superchips are the most talked about. Seems like Edge is favored by most.
