This is a nice touch Jim...a little welcome message for new members. Maybe condense it into a single "members list" thread and add folks as they join?

Victor. Your problem is the fuel pick-up tube in the tank. There is a small secondary intake valve in the side of the tube that has fallen out. Every time the fuel level gets below that now open valve the truck takes a big slug of air and dies. The parts to fix it properly will run about $35-40...not counting labor to remove and install the tank if neccessary.

What part of the state are you in?

Scroll on up to the 99-03 Powerstroke Diesel forum. We've got the answer to pretty much any question you can ask.

Boonville. That's way out west isn't it? Like, up around Fort Smith?

Scroll up to the top of this page and you'll see something that looks like this:

Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums > Regional Chapters > Southern Region > Arkansas Chapter
Welcome to our newest member.

Click on "Southern Region"

When there look For Arkansas Chapter.

Right under that is a link to join.

Or you could just click here: Join Chapter
