I have a 72 with the plate where the radio went. This thing seems like it should just pull off, but I can't get it off without breaking it I don't think. Does it just pull off? What holds it on if not? Am trying to install a stereo, but don't want to break this thing unless they are easy to find. bryan
I don't know about Ford Truck radio delete panels, but they fetch HIGH DOLLAR for antique Mustangs, I'd be careful removing it and then post it for sale in the classifieds.

The most I have seen one fetch on ebay is about $10-$15.

They should just unscrew. Looks like they might be stripped. Gently, emphasize gently, get something between the dash and that nut and then turn it off. A little help and it should “catch” and turn off.
I just paid $40:for a good one of these, and I thought that was a bargain...
So it ended up, to be cross threaded on one of the posts, that side broke off, but I think I can epoxy it and retap it, but when I got it off, I realized that damn thing is plastic! I thought that plate was metal!
