When I first got my truck the electric locks worked fine via alarm and lock unlock button for a few days. After that they quit working but arent dead. When I try to lock/unlock I can hear the actuator make a noise like its trying to push the locks up or down but just doesnt have quite enough force. Today I tried to spray one of them down with some lubricant and still no luck.

Are the actuators going out? Or does anyone have some suggestions as to what else it could be?

 

Usually when that happens you need to replace the actuators.
