Now this ought to be revealing...

 

I'm on SSI, so I don't make enough to survive, but if I can make it, I'm usually there.
I have family in east TN, so events there are rather easy to make, or ones near me, because I require things that are cumbersome in a motel or not allowed, and I'm just not confortable in one.

I have a futon in the livingroom, I have no problem letting someone stay if they need a place for a meet.

 

I like to take trips & do when my money allows. I've traveled 650 miles for a truck meet before. It was worth the money.

 

it certainly depends on the $$ (doesn't it always...ha)
it sometimes depends on timing (got the family to worry about)

 

Love to take road trips, but with a family of five, we have to wait till the last of the month when most of the bills are out of the way, and we can see how much month is left at the end of the money. lol. Now come August, September, and first of October, friday nights and all day saturdays are gonna be booked solid. My daughters are in the high school marching band and we have compititions all over west TN. every Saturday. This year i will be pulling the equipment trailer which is a 40' gooseneck. ( gave me a reason to convince the wife i needed a Powerstroke!!!!!!!!!!).
Hey Greywolf, we will probably do a comp. up in your area at Munford High. will let ya know when the time comes so y'all can come check it out. Its a lotta fun to watch the kids do thier field shows.
