95' F350 7.3 Powerstroke

Can anyone tell me what's involved in removing the pass. side valve cover on my 7.3 diesel? It looks like the heater box may have to be removed, can anyone confirm that?

Can anyone tell me if the pass. side valve cover on a 95' 7.3 PSD can be removed without removing the heater box?

yes pull the silver insulation and there is a little box which is a vacum reservior. it is held by 2 screws and once that is off you can get it out.

I didn't have any trouble on the passenger side of mine except getting that dang bolt out from against the firewall. Once the bolts were out it just lifted out. I think the trick is to get the cab side out and turn it but it's been a while. Good luck!

no it doesnt...the only time anything has to be removed is pulling the injectors. you pull the silver insulation and there is a little black box that comes off the big box and you can get the injector out. believe it or not the passenger side is quicker than the drivers side to remove imo.

sorry i just realized i wasn't very clear on that reservior. it is attached to the heater box but it is the bulge that is very close to the valve cover. remove it and the valve cover is easier to get to.
