I did not know about its existence. Before I got DTC PO181, which is Fuel Temperature Sensor. Sorry people, but I am puzzled too.

gas enignes don't have fuel temp sensors but diesel engines do. From a search this code seems to pop up when the egr goes bad.

The other weird thing is that it all began with Air Mass Flow, now I have First cylinder misfire, EVAP code (497) and this Temp Sensor. I figured by myself that something like this is more typical for Diesel engine but at the same time, I found that on Mustangs it is a part or pressure regulator. The other thing is that all wipers that have not been working properly for a long time especially the washer are working even worth when it's damp and cold outside. Today though the "Service" is one the car works fine. But thanks anyhow.

There is no fuel temp sensor on a 99 5.4L

Are you using some type of programmer or tuner to read your codes? If so, it is the issue, not the engine or the controll electronics.

Post your exact codes (and what you used to pull them with) for the other issues.

Steve
