Diesel is something I've been looking into real hard. I had to hotwire my 85 to get back from Arkansas a few weeks ago.
Imagine my horror when I couldn't find the fuel shut off solenoid connector right away, after I got it started! I thought I was going to watch it suck up the whole tank (and my ride home) while I was standing there helplessly...
But I found it, I knew it was there someplace - near the injector pump.
It pays to read manuals late at night...

I doubt it... I bought a Ranger a year or so ago from Jeff Teague's. Your post said that you were a Dodge Technician in Henderson. I had a hunch that you worked for Jeff Teague's dealership.
