390 question
Hello all. Haven't been on here for a while. Have a question for everybody out there. Its a pretty simple question. I purchased a reman. 390 to replaced my 360 and now i'm curious as to what year this engine is and everything. You all can tell the years apart just by the heads now can't you? I sort of am wondering stuff like compression and hp/tq ratings from the factory. The number on the heads is D2TEAA with 203 stamped by the 4th and 5th spark plugs. Is this the right #'s? the D2... number was stamped between 2-3 and 6-7 spark plugs. Hopefully you guys can tell from this info. If you need more info just tell me. I'll give you what i know(which isn't a whole lot).

390 question
At least the heads are from a '72-'76 390. The block casting number is behind the alternator just below the head gasket.
