Sterling 10.25 differences
Is there any difference between the 10.25 axles when used in different applications, like with the 8.8? For example, when it's used under an f150 or expedition, does it have smaller shafts/lower spline count/etc. than when it's under a super-duty?

heres what i know. the 10.25 axle had some sort of seal upgrade but i can not recall what year. in 99 all ford axles went to the metric bolt pattern for the wheels. then you have a semi floating axle and a full floating version. i seem to recall a ring gear difference but i'm not to sure on that one.
